A rebuilt blue Sigma double-arm mixer staged in the yard at the Gear Force Machine shop, ready for return to a batch line.
Sigma & Industrial Mixer Repair · Nationwide · 24/7

When a Sigma mixer goes down, the whole batch line stops with it.

Sigma and double-arm dispersion mixers, agitators, and ribbon blenders — blades rebuilt, troughs re-lined, drive gearboxes and seals restored in-house. From a single worn blade to a full mixer teardown, one shop owns the whole job.

Gear Force Machine repairs and rebuilds Sigma and industrial mixers — double-arm dispersion blades, troughs, drive gearboxes, seals, and bearings — plus agitators and ribbon/paddle blenders for plants nationwide. We tear the mixer down to the bare trough, inspect and measure every wear surface, and rebuild the working components to original tolerances so the machine mixes evenly and seals tight on startup.

We serve rubber, adhesive, sealant, food, and chemical batch mixing, and we reverse-engineer worn Sigma blades in-house when the OEM part is gone or obsolete. Every job includes a written condition report, line-item pricing before work begins, and a rebuild warranty. Send us the nameplate and call 832-729-9906and we'll tell you what your mixer needs.

Capabilities

One shop, from worn blade to certified rebuild.

The blades, trough, and drive are where a mixer lives or dies. We rebuild all of it under one roof — no farming the blade to one vendor and the gearbox to another.

Blade Rebuild & Remanufacture

Sigma and dispersion blades rebuilt where they can be saved, or remade from the worn part when they can't. We build up worn edges, hardface the wear surfaces, and re-profile the blade so it clears the trough and mixes evenly again.

  • Sigma & dispersion blade rebuild
  • Hardfacing & wear-surface build-up
  • Blade remanufacture from the worn part

Trough & Body Repair

The trough takes the abuse. We re-line worn or scored troughs, re-bore the blade bores back to concentric, add wear plate where the material eats the walls, and weld-repair cracks and gouges before they spread.

  • Trough re-lining & wear-plate overlay
  • Blade-bore re-boring to true
  • Crack & gouge weld repair

Drive & Seal Rebuild

The mixer drive gearbox, seals, and bearings keep the blades turning under load. We rebuild the drive gearbox, replace shaft seals and packing, and fit new bearings so the mixer runs quiet and stays dry through the batch.

  • Mixer drive gearbox repair & rebuild
  • Shaft seal & packing replacement
  • Bearing replacement & alignment

Our Process

Diagnose · Quote · Rebuild · Test · Ship.

  1. Diagnose

On-site or in-shop teardown. We measure blade profile and clearance, trough wear, blade-bore run-out, and drive condition, then document everything with photos.

  2. Quote

Line-item pricing — what gets rebuilt, what gets replaced, what it costs, and when it ships. No surprises mid-job.

  3. Rebuild

Blades rebuilt or remanufactured and hardfaced, troughs re-lined and re-bored, drive gearbox restored, new seals and bearings installed. Obsolete blades reverse-engineered in-house.

  4. Test

We verify blade-to-trough clearance, check the drive under rotation, and confirm the mixer seals and turns freely, with full documentation.

  5. Ship

Free pickup and delivery nationwide, packaged for the road and backed by our rebuild warranty.

Frequently Asked

Questions we hear most.

Not sure where to start? Call 832-729-9906 and we'll walk through it with you.

Both are options — it depends on how much material is left. A blade with sound base metal can be built up, hardfaced, and re-profiled for a fraction of replacement cost. When it's worn past saving, we remanufacture it. Call 832-729-9906 with the mixer make and model and we'll tell you honestly which makes sense.

Yes. We re-line scored and worn troughs, add wear-plate overlay where the material eats the walls, re-bore the blade bores back to concentric, and weld-repair cracks and gouges. A rebuilt trough restores blade clearance and mixing quality without buying a new machine.

Yes. When the OEM is gone or the blade is no longer available, we reverse-engineer it from the worn part — we CAD the profile, match the material and hardness, and machine the replacement in-house so it clears the trough and mixes like the original.

We do. The drive gearbox, seals, and bearings are core to what we do. We rebuild the drive to OEM tolerances, replace shaft seals and packing, and fit new bearings so the mixer runs quiet and stays dry under a full batch load.

We match the base material to the original and apply hardfacing and wear overlays suited to the process — abrasive rubber and sealant compounds, sticky adhesives, or food- and chemical-grade requirements. We'll spec the material to your product and duty cycle.

Yes. A downed Sigma mixer can stop an entire batch line. Call 832-729-9906 any time — we'll have a technician on the phone and a plan for pickup or on-site response.
