The Challenge
The unit arrived caked in scale and product, with failed bearings and seals and no reliable service history. On a continuous petrochemical line, a replacement carried a long lead time and a capital-project price tag.
What We Did
We tore the gearbox down to the bare housing, cleaned and measured every wear surface against OEM tolerances, and documented the condition with photos. Bearings and seals were replaced, the gears inspected and returned to service where serviceable, and the housing cleaned, primed, and painted.
The Result
The rebuilt unit shipped back ready to install, with a written condition report and a 3-year warranty on the rebuild — a fraction of replacement cost and measured in weeks, not quarters.
